The Rwandan genocide is one of the most important of the African history. This catastrophe that made between 600 000 and 1 million deaths cannot be explained the superficial way with which it has been presented, it is to say a war between two ‘tribes’ like the Africans are so pejoratively pointed out. If Blacks had indeed the machetes in their hands to slaughter ‘Tutsis’ and ‘moderated Hutus’, it is the consequence of a colonial and neocolonial conditioning, of an incredible brain wash orchestrated by the West. And as we will see later on, the falsification of a people’s history was at the origin of this horror that shouldn’t have happened.
In the beginning there was only one people who said he was originating from the north – probably valley of the Nile -, the baNyarwanda. They had one and only language, the kiNyarwanda.
They had one and only God, Imana, who was also the name of God in ancient Egypt.
The baNyarwanda were organized in a kingdom of matriarchal tradition, just like everywhere else in Black Africa, and had a sophisticated administration. The concepts of Hutu and Tutsi used to be a reference for social-professional categories. If you had less than 10 cows, you were muHutu – Hutu man – or umuHutukazi – Hutu woman. If you had more than 10 cows, you were a muTutsi – Tutsi man – or an umuTutsikazi – Tutsi woman. One could change their social status from a year to another according to the number of cows one had.
It was the Belgian colonists who created a new definition of these terms that were to engender the genocide. As they wanted to divide and rule this people who was learnedly structured, they started by Christianizing them in order to make them docile. As the Mwami (king) Yuhi Musinga refused to convert to Christianity, he was dismissed from his functions and deported to DR Congo where he died in 1944.
The Belgians then started to measure the faces, the temples, the noses, etc. in order to determine that 85% of the baNyarwanda were baHutu, 14% were baTutsi and 1% was baTwa – Pygmy. Generations of baNyarwandas have this way recited the85-14-1like robots. The Belgians said that the Tutsis had fine face features, and that they were very elegant, in brief that they belonged to the race of lords.
The baTutsi have then evolved within a complex of superiority and the baHutu in a complex of inferiority, believing in the sacred-holy word of the White man. The Tutsi elites were the substitutes of the Belgians, they collaborated in the colonization, and they were the privileged of the moment.
The baHutu were put in camps of forced work under the command of baTutsi. The baTutsis were ordered to whip their Hutu brothers, if they didn’t do so, they risked to be whipped by the Belgians.
The Tutsi elites were eventually in the vanguard of the struggle for the independence of Rwanda. As the Belgians and the Catholic Church turned against their former collaborators, they chose to support the baHutu.
The Hutu majority under the command of extremist leaders started to take revenge on the baTutsi about the ill-treatment they suffered from the latter. This was how the first massacre against the baTutsi took place in 1959 in a mood of ‘racial’ madness, compelling 200 000 baTutsi to refuge in the neighbor countries. The several attempts of the baTutsi to return by force, supported by the Americans and British worsened the hate, kept alive by the Belgians who wrote the 10 commandments of the Hutu, one of the very hateful texts ever.
The French also brought material support to the Hutu government against the Tutsi. It was in this atmosphere that the order to exterminate the baTutsi and the moderated baHutu, well prepared, was given 15 minutes after the assassination of the Hutu president Juvenal Habyarimana, by air attack.
The Hutu extremists pulled out the machetes and the apocalypse crashed down on the land of Musinga.75% of the baTutsi were exterminated in 13 weeks. Entire families were killed by their neighbors. 600 000 to 1 million killed in 3 months, 200 000 to 300 000 killed in the neighbor country Burundi where the separation Hutu/Tutsi was also in force.
When Tutsi government took the power after the genocide in Rwanda, also took revenge on the baHutu who refuged on the East of DRC. This is how the baNyarwanda gone mad, who did not know anymore who they were, committed the irreparable. This is how we find ourselves within a hate that no longer finishes.1 MILLION DEATHS FOR NOTHING! ALL THIS FOR A MATTER OF COWS!
May this catastrophe serve as a lesson for Africans! Let us no longer allow anybody else but ourselves to write our own history.
