As a Nubian Pan Africanist From Egypt I stand for the people of Ferguson, New York(America) and all blacks globally who have or are experiencing police murder and brutality.
I encourage those who are committed to dismantling structural violence against Black people to no longer chant ‘Black Lives Matter’ but instead chant ‘Black Lives Matter Everywhere’. Let us not limit our desire for structural changes to the United States. If we are to effectively challenge white supremacy, economic exploitation and patriarchal violence to it knee, it is important that we use this opportunity to collectively organise our resources and voices – regardless of geographical location.
The scourge of killing Black people by the United State police is no different with the Blacks killed by white supremacist and their cohort globally through numerous guises.
Therefore, as our brothers and sisters fight for justice at a local level in the United States of America, the character of our awareness, resistance and solidarity needs to be international in the spirit and tenet of Pan Africanism – for this is a tactical genocidal war against the African people globally.
